Smokey was 9 weeks old and Bandit was 7 when they joined our family. Smokey came from a trailer park in Cocoa, FL and not used to humans. We couldn’t get near him at our first meeting, I (Rick) was very apprehensive about adopting this kitten. Bandit, on the other hand crawled all over me and was determined to go home with us.
Bandit is the alpha cat of the two and of course the troublemaker. Smoke follows him wherever he goes. They slept together as furballs and are fond of wrestling as young brothers often do. Smokey quickly determined that we were good people and slept with Mary Ann the first night.
They have taken over the joint and found every nook and cranny to explore. They are with us 24/7 and always underfoot – we like it that way. They are happy and well adjusted and we’re happy to have adopted them.
